Ordering from Saudi Arabia

ApparelX sells only to businesses. You can choose from the following delivery methods for addresses in Saudi Arabia. The delivery fee is shown at checkout before you place your order.

• DHL (International Standard Delivery): arrives in about 4–7 days after dispatch. This is the method we recommend.
• EMS (International Economy Delivery): arrives in about 7–21 days after dispatch, at a lower fee. Each parcel can weigh up to 30 kg, be up to 1.5 m long, and be up to 3 m in length and girth combined. Orders over 30 kg are sent in more than one parcel, and the delivery fee is the total for all parcels. In Saudi Arabia, EMS is delivered from Sunday to Thursday.

Delivery times are counted from the day we dispatch your parcel and do not include customs clearance. For more about each method, see Delivery.

Because of the situation in the Middle East, delivery may be delayed or suspended. If this happens, we will let you know in our notice on shipping to the Middle East.

For EMS, Japan Post advises that parcels may be delayed because of reduced flights to the Middle East, and may be returned to Japan if the route is cut off.

• When you are logged in, prices are shown in your account currency. To see how we convert prices from Japanese yen, see Currency and Exchange Rates.
• Japanese consumption tax is not charged on orders delivered to Saudi Arabia.
• Our prices do not include Saudi customs duty or VAT.

We send orders to Saudi Arabia on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means that you, as the importer, pay any import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

The carrier will ask you to pay these before or at delivery and may add its own handling fee. Please pay them so that your parcel can be delivered.

As a rough guide, customs duty on many fabrics and trims is 5% of the CIF value (the value of the goods plus insurance and shipping), but some items are charged at higher rates. For the rate for your products, please check the HS code with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) or your customs broker.

VAT of 15% is charged on imports whatever their value. It is calculated on the value of the goods, shipping, and insurance, plus customs duty and customs fees.

ZATCA exempts purchases worth less than SAR 1,000, including shipping and insurance, from customs duty in some cases, such as personal online purchases. Whether this applies to your business order depends on how it is cleared, and VAT is still charged, so please do not rely on it when you plan your costs.

These figures are only estimates and may change. The final amounts are decided by the carrier and Saudi customs.

• Importer details: for a business import, Saudi customs needs your Commercial Registration (CR) number. DHL or customs may contact you to ask for it. Please reply promptly so that your parcel can be cleared without delay.
• SABER certificates: under the technical regulation for textile products of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), fabrics, yarns, lace, tapes, and other textile products may need a certificate of conformity issued through SABER, Saudi Arabia's product conformity platform. As the importer, you are responsible for these certificates, and we cannot obtain them for you. Please check with your customs broker before you place a large order.
• Prints and designs: goods that conflict with Islamic teachings or public morals cannot be imported into Saudi Arabia, and this can include fabrics with certain prints or designs. Please check printed fabrics before you order.

Since January 1, 2026, delivery companies in Saudi Arabia must refuse parcels that do not have a valid national address. Please enter your address as it is registered in your national address, which you can check with Saudi Post (SPL).

• Enter the building number, street, district, and city.
• Enter your 5-digit postal code. If you have a short address (4 letters and 4 numbers, for example ABCD1234), please also add it to the address line.
• Enter a mobile phone number where the carrier can reach you about the delivery and customs clearance.

The weekend in Saudi Arabia is Friday and Saturday. Our customer support works on Japan time (JST), which is 6 hours ahead of Saudi Arabia. Please allow for the time difference when you contact us.
