The most popular item in the SLK series is SLK120, but across Okura Shoji overall, SLK270 is the second most popular product number.
The most popular color is the steadfast #21 (black).
We keep plenty of stock of popular colors, but sometimes large orders come in and stock can run low, so if you would like to place a large order, please contact us for a consultation.
If a color is out of stock, it can usually be dyed in about 3 weeks if greige fabric stock is available, so please use that as a guide for delivery time.
In response to requests from the brands that use our products, we have expanded the color variations of #22 (deep navy) and #KW (bleached white).

What is "momme" in silk fabric?
Momme is used as a unit of weight, and 1 momme is 3.75 g; for silk fabric, it is the weight of 93 cm x 93 cm.
In general, with silk, the larger the momme, the thicker and more substantial the fabric.
Why are there two widths, 92 cm and 112 cm, listed for the SLK series?
Because this product number will switch to 112 cm width once the 92 cm width stock runs out, two widths are shown.
If you would like to know whether the color you want to order will be 92 cm or 112 cm, please contact us.
Is the silk in the SLK series a fabric with a stable supply?
Okura Shoji stocks color stock and greige fabric.
Basically, color stock is stocked only as cut rolls, so depending on the situation, there may not be enough stock for 20 m.
Even in that case, it can be dyed in about 2 to 3 weeks.
How long is the delivery time when ordering the silk fabric in the SLK series by the roll?
Also, where is it produced?
Okura Shoji stocks only cut rolls, and if you order multiple rolls, they will be dyed separately, so delivery is expected to take about 2 to 3 weeks.
All SLK series items are finished and dyed in Japan, so they are made in Japan, but the weaving and raw materials are from central Japan.
What is the silk grade of the SLK series?
Okura Shoji's silk series basically uses 6A or 5A grade yarn.
Can the SLK series be washed?
The SLK series is not washable silk.
We recommend dry cleaning.
Can I place an order for fabric without any joins?
Cut-to-order quantities are possible, but for orders of 5 m or more, piece breaks may occur.
If there is a piece break in a cut order, we cut it a little longer.
Also, even for rolls, there may be piece breaks, so please place your order with some extra allowance (loss).
I ordered the fabric by roll, but isn’t the quantity the same as what I ordered?
When you order fabric by roll, it is usually arranged as an estimated roll, so the quantity may be slightly above or below the quantity you ordered.
Therefore, if we need to change the quantity from what you ordered, we will notify you of the updated quantity by email each time.
If the quantity is greater, we will request additional payment for the difference; if the quantity is less, we will refund the difference within a few days after shipment is completed.

The color of the sample card swatch and the actual fabric I ordered differ. Can it be exchanged?
There may be slight differences depending on the fiber material, and fiber products can vary in color from lot to lot. For that reason, we cannot offer an exchange for slight variations, but if the color difference is significant, we will consult with the manufacturer and arrange an exchange or other appropriate response.
I would like hang tags and woven labels for fabric with a trademark.
Regarding hang tags and woven labels, if the manufacturer selling them is different, the prices, terms, etc. will also differ. If you order the fabric, we can arrange it from as little as one piece. In principle, hang tags are often available, but woven labels may not be, so when ordering the fabric, please let us know the fabric product number and the number of hang tags/woven labels, etc.
I purchased a sample card, but there are colors not listed on ApparelX. Is it possible to purchase them?
Yes, it is possible. The sample card will be updated when the manufacturer adds new colors, but they may not be listed on ApparelX.

If I buy the fabric by roll, is it possible to be told the one roll's length in advance?
If you order by roll, the number of meters allocated per roll varies depending on the timing of the order, so we cannot inform you of the meter count.
Also, we are very sorry, but because the length of one roll differs, we cannot specify the meter count.
What color is the PFP?
P下, PFP (Prepare for Print), refers to undyed, unprocessed fabric that has been treated for dyeing and printing.
Is custom dyeing possible for colors not listed on the sample card?
Since availability, lead time, unit price, etc. vary depending on the product number, please note it on the support page or in the remarks field when placing your order. We will confirm with the manufacturer.
If there is no P-base option, can printing not be done?
If there is no variation for P下 or dyeing color numbers, we may also print on white and similar colors, but depending on the chemicals, there are cases where the print does not adhere well. Please try it with a sample.
The sample card came with a woven label and hang tag, but aren't they included with fabric orders?
The woven label and hang tag must be arranged separately. If you enter the desired quantities in the remarks field when placing your order, we will confirm with the manufacturer whether they can be arranged.
Once confirmed, we will let you know the payment method.
Is it possible to have the fabric printed?
If it is a fabric with P backing, printing is possible.
If you provide the data and quantity, we will send you a quote.
Is it possible to have the fabric cut to a specified size?
It depends on the type and size of the fabric. (A separate processing fee will apply.)

Can Pertex fabric be arranged?
We are sorry, but fabrics such as Pertex are not sold as stock items.
Since they are fabrics that must be procured in lots after applying for the brand while respecting trademarks, we are unable to arrange them.
Do you carry colors that are not listed in the color swatch?
There may be cases where a color is not shown on the product page due to new colors being added, etc. We may be able to arrange it, so please contact us.
