YKK mainly handles zippers for apparel and bags, including EXCELLA®, Vislon®, metal, resin coil, and water-repellent types. Buckles, hook and loop, and pull tabs can also be selected to suit the application.

If gloss and design appeal are important, EXCELLA® or metal zippers with metal teeth are suitable. If you want light weight and corrosion resistance, choose Vislon® with resin teeth; if you want to reduce rainwater infiltration, choose a water repellent zipper. For outerwear that should also open and close from the hem side, a two way separator that can be opened and closed with upper and lower sliders is suitable.

Yes, that is possible. Please clearly write your desired color number in the remarks field when placing your order, and we will arrange it in that color.
* Colors not listed on the product page are often out of stock, and if the color is out of stock, it will be arranged through factory processing.

QI want head-to-head and bottom-to-bottom zippers. How should I place an order?

Please order a closed-end zipper and specify in the remarks field whether you want head-to-head or tail-to-tail.

Yes, it is possible. Please indicate the desired length in the order notes field, and we will arrange it to that length.
Please also place your order using the length rounded up to the nearest 0.5 cm. (Example: If you would like to request 20.5 cm, select 21 cm and clearly write "20.5 cm requested" in the notes field.)

QCan you arrange a zipper for reverse use?

Yes, we can. If you write it in the remarks field or memo field when placing your order, we will arrange the zipper for reverse use.

QI’d like a left-insertion zipper. Is it possible to order one?

Yes, that is possible. For open-end zippers, the product number suffix is OR for right-side insertion and OL for left-side insertion. For two way separator zippers, the product number suffix is MR for right-side insertion and ML for left-side insertion.
At present, on ApparelX we only have product pages for right-side insertion items, so please place your order from the right-side insertion product page.
If you note in the remarks field at the time of ordering that you would like to change to left-side insertion, we will arrange it for you. We will contact you separately regarding the unit price.
